Learning partnertships
Helping young people to develop industry-specific knowledge and skills. Find out what’s different here.
The Bermudian Public School System needs to change to help our young people develop the skills, knowledge, values and relationships that will enable them to access and create jobs of the future, to be active citizens and to tackle increasingly complex challenges.
A key feature of Signature Schools is the opportunity for students to engage in authentic, real-world learning experiences that help them to develop industry-specific knowledge and skills. Signature Schools offer an opportunity for businesses, community organizations and associations to became a Learning Partner to help shape Bermuda’s young people and the country’s future.
Bermuda's industries and communities are stepping up to bring relevance and sector expertise into Signature Learning.
They are contributing inside the classroom by co-teaching modules and designing real-world projects, as well as extending learning beyond the school walls through internships, work placements, facility access, field trips and employment compacts.
Parish Primaries will also benefit from partnerships, with a focus on exposure to signature learning opportunities but also as a way of delivering wrap-around services to students and their families, and building deeper relationships with community members.
