High quality teaching is essential to supporting students to achieve ambitious goals and world-class outcomes. In seeking to transform education in Bermuda, we must ensure that our teachers are able to confidently and creatively design engaging, challenging and connected experiences that deepen and expand their students’ learning.

By focusing on professional learning experiences that support teachers to innovate their practice, we stand a better chance of designing powerful learning that has a profound and lasting impact on young people; enabling them to thrive now and into their futures in an ever-changing world.

In these modules you will find the building blocks to develop the innovation capabilities needed to reimagine education in Bermuda, and to co-design powerful learning experiences with and for students. Each week a module will be added so that you can engage with new ways of thinking and doing at your own pace. Modules will start with an introductory 60 minute Zoom session with innovation experts that you can actively participate in, and the recordings of these sessions will be saved on the module pages should you not be able to join at the time. 

Modules include an exercise to help you practice and reflect on what you have learned. Some of these exercises can be done alone, and some are collaborative: these will benefit from you connecting with a colleague, or even inviting a friend or family member to participate for a few minutes.
